We took these photos out in front of South Hall at the UC Berkeley campus, which fit the building style from the Mary Poppins movie. We even hade some people spot us and asked if they could take a photo with us. That made our day as it felt like we really nailed our costumes!

I loved putting together my Mary Poppins costume for Halloween, especially because a number of these items were already in my closet. Well, I should clarify that some of these items were in my closet, but the key pieces from this look were from my mom’s closet. I borrowed the navy coat, red, knit scarf and the ruffled white button-down shirt. Hooray for having a mom with excellent style and for wearing a similar size!
