For the holiday weekend, Armando and I decided to take a road trip down to LA. We wanted to visit Disneyland for our anniversary and see some sights in the area like the pier in Santa Monica.
It was chillier than I anticipated, but when we stepped out of our Airbnb this morning the sun was out and gave me the impression I could wear my new white lace dress c/o Tobi. This dress is perfect for a day at the beach, more so when it is sunny, but I love the girly lace detail paired with the oversized, destroyed denim jacket. I’ve really been into white dresses lately and am glad I got to try out this dress. I do wish I had ordered a size down because the dress fits me a lot bigger than I thought it would, but luckily belts can really change the fit of a dress.
I picked up this new mint leaf bag on sale right before this trip and love the pop of color it adds to the white lace dress. I love the metallic details and tassels on the zipper. Best of all, the chain is removable so that this crossbody can become a clutch! The size is not the most practical as an everyday bag, but I like that it forces me to only carry the essentials.
Also, what do you think of short hairstyle? I’ve had it short since last September, but finally decided it was time to share a more recent photo of myself. I really miss my long curls, but it’s always fun to try something different. It’s growing a lot faster than I thought it would, so here’s hoping it is long for the wedding I am planning.
