When I initially thought about going on a hot air balloon ride, I envisioned a cute summer dress and wicker basket. (I also did not envision a proposal, which you can read more about on this post.) I am glad I didn’t entertain that thought for long since Armando had booked our sunrise flight, where we would start our flight a 6 AM and the high altitude suggested we should probably wear plenty of layers.
I began collecting blanket scarfs last year and figured this instance was as good a time to wear one. I feel the colors and print of this scarf help it transition for early spring outfits when days do not start off so warm. I bought it on Poshmark for a sweet deal, and it was originally from Modcloth. I am so glad I brought it with me for the ride because it proved to be functional at 2,000 feet in the air!
These photos were taken after we landed, but I should admit I was afraid of wearing the engagement ring. I was excited, but also in shock because things would be changing. I typically don’t wear rings because I tend to lose them, and if I buy any they tend to be pretty cheap. So here is hoping I don’t lose it. I wasn’t ready to flaunt that new piece of jewelry, but I was excited to share my coin purse and phone case by Kate Spade for this occasion.
Hope you are having a good week and I can’t wait to start sharing more Spring/Summer outfits.
