Sometimes I’ve had dreams where I would go to school in my pajamas, and would wake up flushed and pray that nightmare never became a reality. Then I found this Nanette Lepore dress during one of my shopping trips at Crossroads Trading Co., and it has changed my mind about wearing pajamas in public. The dress is light and silky, which reminds of a nightgown, but the cut and shape of the dress makes if perfect for work. This look almost reminds me of Jennifer Garner’s character in 13 Going on 30 when she goes to work for her fashion magazine in just a cute slip and her trench coat. That outfit was so memorable because it was something she ran out of the house in, and it was still chic.
Aside from being pretty excited about the pajama style dress, I am also in love with these Samantha Wills earrings that came in my first Rocksbox set a few months ago. They are slightly heavy, but also very ornate. I loved the colors of the stones and thought they complimented the simple style of the dress.
