Black Blazer Zara Women, Navy and Black Body Con Dress Walter, Signature “C” Black Messenger Bag Coach, Black Patent Ulltra Pumps Steve Madden, Elephant Ring Forever 21 |
Rainy Monday = no cute outfit! I was caught a bit off guard and had no idea what to wear (ironic since this is my blogs purpose). The weather also did not permit a moment to take my photo outside, but I enjoyed the break from writing.
To make up for the lack of a post, I straightened my hair and dressed as professionally as I could. I think my outfit for the day is very cubicle chic. My straight hair inspired me to choose something with clean lines, and adding the blazer adds instant polish. The ring adds just a touch of fun to an otherwise simple, but sleek, outfit.
I had to look professional because I had to interview some potential student interns since a position opened up in our office recently. Since I am almost the same age, and will be working closely with them, I needed to show some authority and I think this outfit gave off the vibe I needed. I had slight color, and a whimsical accessory, but the structure of the blazer really pulled it together.
I am really excited with the potential candidates, particularly their enthusiasm and energy. I have a few more interviews tomorrow, but I won’t be able to post my outfit until Thursday because of my late class. We’ll see how my look ends up since I need to plan on being warm (especially because of the rain).
Thank you for following and reading my blog! <3
