I got some feedback last night on yesterday’s outfit via Facebook, and it inspired me to be a little different today. Although I did not do a bun, I did decide to do my Half-Up, Half-Down hairstyle that I was obsessed with in high school. My other go-to looks were ponytails and my hair down, and today the hair down look is prominent in most (almost all) of my blog posts.
Since my hair was out of the way today, I was able to wear some cute earrings! It is not only strange to see me with earrings (since when my hair is down you can’t see them), but I am wearing earrings of a different color than my dress! *gasp*
I am not as matchy-matchy as usual, and I can see how I can dress without certain things needing to match. I really like how the pink and aqua colors work well with each other. Although the gold is the only thing that matches (cuff, buttons, and dress zipper), I am very proud of myself for putting this together and not having everything need to match. Maybe it is a sign I am becoming a sophisticated adult?
Or that some advice is worth taking. (Thanks Lorie!)
