Rain, Rain, Rain! I have a love-hate relationship with this weather. I love the smell of grass after it rains, but hate having to go out when it’s pouring because most outfits I cannot wear for fear of getting them wet. I realize a big part of that issue is because of the lack of weather-proofed boots I have. I’ll be keeping a look out for some stylish weather-proof boots on sale next month.
However, I did get to wear my thigh high Nine West boots which helped me when deciding what to wear this morning. Today’s outfit revolves around these black heeled boots. I thought I would have an issue with wearing the heels all day, but it helps that I am sitting most of the day when I work. These are some of the most comfortable boots with a heel I have ever owned. That might change once if I ever decide to invest in a pair of Christian Louboutin boots (like these!)
The tip of the heel was actually worn down, but I took them to a shoe cobbler and presto! These boots are as good as new! Now I know where to take my favorite shoes in order to maintain them. I won’t have to buy a new pair of thigh high boots anytime soon.
I wore all black today, but adding just a pop of color makes a pretty big statement if it has some interesting detail. This particular shade can kind of fit under a pastel, which was big all over the runway for this season. I’m typically not a huge fan of pastels, but it takes trial-and-error to find the right shade that works well with your skin tone.
